Reliability is measured from real completed engagements — and we publish exactly how, shown only once there's enough history to be fair. Reviews run both ways, because respect does too: on Mise, accountability belongs to everyone, client and professional alike.

Fair by design
One trust process protecting both sides of every booking. Professionals are verified and background-checked before they ever appear; clients commit through the platform from the moment they book. Reviews run in both directions and safety protections belong to everyone — because a fair table is built from both sides.
Cancellation protection
Nobody's left holding the bag. If a professional cancels, the client is refunded in full — including any deposit already paid out — and it becomes part of that professional's permanent reliability record. If a client cancels late, the professional is still compensated under the published refund timeline — shown to both sides before anyone commits. Professionals can always choose to be more generous than the policy — never harsher.
Fair disputes
Reviewed by a real person, never clawed back without review. After every event there's a 48-hour window to raise a concern before money moves. Every dispute is read and decided by a human being — funds are never pulled back automatically, and outcomes follow the evidence, whichever side it supports.
No additional processing fees
Mise absorbs card transaction fees. The price you see is the price that matters: no card surcharges at checkout for clients, and no processing deductions from professional payouts. Ever.
Bank-grade payment security through Stripe
Mise never touches your card number. Every payment runs through Stripe, the same payment infrastructure trusted by millions of businesses worldwide, and professionals are paid through those same protected rails.
Verified Reviews
Every review comes from a completed, paid experience on Mise — no anonymous ratings, ever. Reviews run both ways: clients review professionals and professionals review clients, and every rating is tied to a real transaction on the platform.
